This school year, Election Day will be a mandatory remote instructional day for all NYC Public Schools students. Students will participate in a full day of live online learning and are expected to log into their classes virtually via Google Meet using their DOE-issued devices.
To ensure a smooth and orderly start to the day, please have your child log in according to the staggered schedule below:
• 8:00 a.m. — Grades 6 and 9
• 8:15 a.m. — Grades 7 and 10
• 8:30 a.m. — Grades 8, 11, and 12
Once logged in, students will follow their regular daily class schedule. Active participation is required, and attendance will be recorded during each class period.
